It's a complex chemistry that goes back hundreds of
years, but distilling some of our favourite alcoholic drinks is
reasonably new to the Adelaide Hills.
I talk to two of our local distillers about the
huge growth in the local industry and how they're using their
skills in an evolving art.
Along the way we take a quick trip to Europe,
explore some of the huge variety of ingredients used, and find out
about the impact of local distilleries on tourism.
